Filthy!!! If you stay here check your ENTIRE room before accepting it! We had a group of 8 rooms, and every single one ended up with problems all associated with cleanliness. Our room we found dirty sheets, floors not cleaned, stained towels, mold/dirt on ceilings and walls, very out dated scratched/damaged furniture. Our daughter’s room had an ice bucket with a half-drank beverage and dried vomit, dirty towels rolled back up and put on shelf. The list goes on from our other rooms in our group. Front desk unattended overnight as we found issues so they could not even be addressed. Entire place smells like spray to cover odors and old mildew. Breakfast was sketchy too. Morning manager made aware and their solution was to give us bonus points in the membership. No thanks, we won’t stay at another hotel in this chain so definitely won’t need bonus points. This is like a 1980s movie, down a dark end road, just smells of bad. Pick somewhere else.

The room was very nice - large and clean with a good shower. Better than expected for similar tier hotels. Check in was fast and easy, and breakfast was as expected. Free breakfast and Wi-Fi were nice. Very quiet even on Friday night. We would stay again if we are in the area.

Poor Service Jeopardizes Life

When I walked into the lobby of this hotel after midnight, the clerk was in the lounge watching television. I asked if there were rooms available. The clerk barked: $179 a night, no pets allowed. When I identified my dog as a service animal, the clerk barked: license and credit card. When I went to my assigned room and inserted the key, the room was already occupied by a very groggy guest who I had awakened and who was understandably frightened and confused. I felt that my life could have been in jeopardy given recent events in the United States where individuals have been shot and killed because they knocked at the wrong front door or turned around in the wrong driveway. I returned to the front desk and was assigned a new room. The only explanation given was that the computer showed the room "unoccupied." The clerk did apologize and he did visit the new assigned room to ensure it was empty before he gave me the new key. However, this mistake imperiled my life. Perhaps I'me sensitive to this because I am black. I reported the incident to management and received no response. For that reason, I am alerting other travelers that the service at this hotel is below the standard of care to which a guest is entitled.

We spent one night at this Holiday Inn Express on our way home from Maine. We used it as a chance to visit 2 FL Wright properties in the Buffalo area. We were greeted by 2 friendly desk clerks who were both ready to check us in. When we asked about dining options we were provided with a type written list of restaurants and shopping in the area. The room was on the 4th floor, of ample size with a very comfortable bed and good sized bathroom. We slept well and found the breakfast options to be excellent. The cheese omelets were hot, there were a variety of other options, hot and cold. The hash browns were the weakest dish and were nearly cold in the warming tray. The coffee was good. Highly recommend this property.

My wife and I enjoyed our recent stay at this property. The location is convenient, the rooms well appointed with comfortable beds, an excellent hot breakfast is provided. Front desk staff extremely friendly and helpful. Best of all, daily maid service was standard, unlike many hotels that now try to skip this service. We would definitely stay here again.
